Okay seriously. I am already showing. Big time. The scale says I've only gained 4 lbs, but I feel like it's so much more. Although I was about 10 lbs overweight to start with. This is going to be really tough for me, gaining weight, I mean of course I know it's for the greater good, but I have pretty negative body image as it is, so gaining 30 lbs is just going to be tough. Ithink I can handle the belly fat, but the thigh/butt area will really be tough. But I do want to post belly shots along the way. Here I am tonight. Basically the blubber layer on top is new and I feel like I am totally pooching out. Crazy. Oh and believe me, normally my boobs don't even stick out!

You only *think* you're pouching out. The real pouch comes in a few weeks! ;)
Seriously though, I remember thinking the same thing- that I was just getting so much thicker around the waist. That happened right away. And the butt and thighs grow. And the gaining 30 pounds part? It sucks. I look in the mirror everyday and think *yuck* but I know that soon enough afterward it'll all go away and then we'll be those bad ass moms who people talk about like, "Can you believe she had 2 kids already??? She looks GREAT!!"
you might look different to YOU, but i don't think you look like you're pregnant yet! no one would guess...isn't that in between stage where you just think you're fat GREAT?? i think i'm almost out of it...almost look undeniably pregnant. everyone is different, but i don't think anything on me has changed (at almost 25 weeks and 10 pounds) except the belly...butt, thighs, arms, even my boobs haven't grown (yay!!)!! yet anyway...keep working out and you'll be fine, even if things change you can keep some feeling of control!
oh yeah...and looking at your picture, i was thinking, "i used to have hip bones too!!" not anymore.
You look fantastic!!! You wanna see a belly? www.lucytitus.com :-p My waist is 42 inches or something ridiculous like that. The weight gain is REALLY hard though. I didn't want to gain more than 26 pounds and I'm at a 35 pound weight gain at 35 weeks-boo. Your body does what it needs to support your baby and then afterwards it goes back (or so they say). I think we're aware enough and active enough that we'll be able to get this baby weight off!
I feel you! Being skinny your whole life and then blowing up like a blimp is no fun! But honestly no one will be able to tell you are pregnant until like 5 months, but you will feel huge!
I am so ready for Parker to get out of here so I can start back on a "diet" (aka stop eating whatever I want) and working out! I am determined to go back to work in pre-pregnancy clothes!
Oh man - are you serious!? You must be skin and bones normal if this is showing! You are not showing anything! It is really hard for me too. I feel bad that I am sad to gain weight but I have a horrible body image. I'm really trying to think, ok, this is a baby!!
